The Argocat is genuinely amphibious and goes where nothing else will. You will cross burns, climb hill tracks and reach viewpoints that would otherwise take a hard day's walking, with our staff driving and pointing out the deer, eagles and landmarks along the way.
Because there is no walking involved, an Argocat adventure suits guests of any age or level of fitness. It is often the highlight of the week for families, and a fine way to spend a rest day between stalking or fishing.
The Argocat also earns its keep as a way to reach water that would otherwise be a serious walk in. Rods strap along the side, tackle and a picnic go in the back, and the vehicle takes you out to Glen Pean lochan for the pike, or to the hill lochans for wild brown trout. It is run as a half-day trip in its own right, and you can read what the day involves on our fishing page.
