Getting Close

Getting within camera range of wild red deer takes exactly the same skills as stalking them with a rifle: reading the wind, using the ground, and moving slowly. Our stalker does the hard part, and you get closer than you would ever manage alone.

Beyond the Deer

The same day gives you the glen itself: steep ground, big western skies and, on a clear day, the islands of Rhum and Skye on the horizon. Autumn during the rut is the most dramatic time to come, though the herd is on the hill year round.
